Events

I am always happy to speak at book clubs, schools and libraries, and at events of all kinds. Send inquiries to lori@loriduffyfoster.com.

Nov. 1, The Friends of Seymour Library Author Expo, Cayuga Museum Carriage House Theater, 203 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mystery Loves Company is a new event consisting of two panels featuring crime/mystery and romance writers. I am excited to be among the mystery panelists! In addition to the panel discussions, there will be refreshments and raffles. Proceeds from this year’s event will go directly to support Seymour Library programs and services.

Nov. 8, Corning-Painted Post MS PTA Holiday Vendor Fair, Corning-Painted Post Middle School, 35 Victory Hwy, Painted Post, NY, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. I rarely get the opportunity to do events in Corning, so I am excited for this one. I'll be signing and selling books and giving away an ARC of SPRING MELT for the raffle. This is a great way to get an early start on holiday shopping. Books make great gifts!

Dec. 7, Under the Dome Craft Fair, Elmira College Athletic Center, Elmira, NY, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: This event was so cool last year. So many different vendors, including several authors. I will be there to sign and sell books and to sell hand-painted pillows for readers and writers. Come celebrate the season!

Jan. 6, Book Club, Saunders Finger Lakes Museum, 3369 Guyanoga Rd, Branchport, NY, 5:30 to 7 p.m. I am excited for the chance to discuss NEVER LET GO with this newly formed book club, hosted by the museum. All are welcome and there is no registration fee. Click here to RSVP. It should be a fun night!

April 9. Knoxville Public Library, Knoxville, PA, 5:30 to 7 p.m. This is the official launch celebration of SPRING MELT! I'll be talking about the book and the inspiration behind it for the first half hour, but don't worry if you can't make it to the talk or you're not interested in that aspect. The remainder of the time will be a drop-in reception with food and drink. I will also be selling and signing books, including my previously published books. I'm so excited to share this book set in my hometown with my adopted hometown.

April 16, Local Authors Series, Hornell Public Library, 64 Genesee St, Hornell, NY, 6 p.m. Let's talk writing! During this event, I will be discussing my newest novel, SPRING MELT, which releases March 10, along with my other novels and my journey to publication. The event is free and open to the public. I hope to see you there!

April 18, Craft Talk, Otto Bookstore, 107 W Fourth Street, Williamsport, PA, 4 to 6 PM. I am really excited for the opportunity to talk with writers and readers in this historic bookshop in downtown Williamsport. Copies of SPRING MELT will also be available for sale and signing.

April 23, Meet-and-Greet, Dormann Library, 101 W Morris St, Bath, NY 14810, 3 to 5 p.m. I love this library! I'll be chatting with patrons about SPRING MELT, my mystery series and my thriller while also selling and signing books. I'm told a children's craft event will be taking place at the same time. So, come on over and let's chat while sipping coffee or tea from the cafe!

May 15-17, The Writer's Path: Pennwriters 39th Annual Conference, Lancaster, PA. Registration is not yet open for the 2026 event, but I will be there! I missed the conference several years in a row because it fell on prom weekend, but all our kids have graduated high school now, so I am free to attend. This is my favorite writing conference. It caters to writers of all genres and the people are among the best you'll ever meet. There is a special chapter for those who live outside Pennsylvania. If you are a writer -- aspiring or established -- I hope you'll think about attending.
