June 6, Book Signing, Barnes & Noble - Kingston, 1200 Ulster Ave, Kingston, NY, 1 p.m. The Kingston area, where my sister lives, is my home-away-from-home. So, I am super excited to do a signing at the new Barnes & Noble. If you live in the area or you are visiting, come on over!
June 20, Book Signing, The BookStore Plus, 2491 Main Street Lake Placid, NY, 1 to 3 PM. I am absolutely thrilled for this event just nine miles from my hometown of Saranac Lake, where SPRING MELT is set. I hope to see many old friends at this signing and to make lots of new ones!
June 27, Book Signing, Barnes & Noble, 2443 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, NY, noon to 3 p.m. I earned my master's degree from nearby Binghamton University, so I'm excited to return to the area for this event. Grab a drink from the cafe and let's talk books!
July 11, BookFest PA, Schlow Centre Region Library parking lot, 211 South Allen St, State College, PA, 10 AM to 4 PM. This event takes place in conjunction with the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, a huge weekend-long juried art show that attracts thousands to state college each summer. I am thrilled to be part of it again this year. If you've never been, I highly recommend making a weekend of it. The art and the food are amazing!
July 18, Book Signing, Old Forge Hardware, 104 Fulton Street Old Forge, NY, 2 to 4 PM. This isn't your average hardware store. Known as "The Adirondacks' Most General Store, Old Forge Hardware is as much an attraction as the lakes and mountains that surround it. Not only does the store have anything you need to stay and play in the area, but they also have a huge selection of Adirondack-themed books. I am honored that SPRING MELT is among them.
Aug. 8, Adirondack Art Festival, Adirondack Experience: The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, 9097 State Route 30, Blue Mountain Lake, NY, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. I'm so excited for this event on the museum's 120-acre, open-air campus, which is comprised of 20 buildings, overlooking Blue Mountain Lake in the Central Adirondacks. Authors are only a small part of the festival. You'll find dozens of artists and artisans from all over the region selling their work along with a juried art exhibition. Worth the trip, for sure!
Aug. 22, Book Talk and Signing, Virginia Hosley Free Library, 1438 State Route 30, Wells, NY, 1 p.m. I am thrilled for the opportunity to talk about SPRING MELT and sign books in this cozy Adirondack community, where I sometime spend time with my sister and brother-in-law, Come join us if you can!
